Trump excites his base for the 2020 election by keeping a black woman off the $20 bill. Trump has hissy fit: says he won't do his job because Speaker Pelosi accused him of a cover-up. No, seriously. Meanwhile, he seeks to cover-up his money laundering with Deutsche Bank as the evidence against him accumulates. A look at some of the latest examples of "the best people" he has brought into our government, including the continuing assault on our environment and the latest efforts to seek the help of foreign powers in the coming presidential election. Then we take a longer look at much of what is wrong with US democracy--the US voter--and discuss some ideas for how to make democracy in this country work.
